About Ondara Pet Aftercare

Our Story

Ondara comes from the Spanish word for wave. Water is at the center of what we do: aquamation uses water, warmth, and alkalinity in place of flame. We started Ondara in 2025 after our own family lost a pet and found that the aftercare had been handed to a third party, with unclear answers about what had actually happened. We wanted a place in Boulder where the people you call are the people doing the work, where pricing is listed before you commit, and where every step from pickup to the return of your pet's ashes is recorded and shared with you.

A Note from Our Founder

Across nearly 30 years as a Fire Captain and Paramedic, my job has been to be a calm, honest presence for families in their hardest moments: show up, tell the truth, and handle everything with care. Caring for your pet is that same promise.

When you call Ondara, you reach the people doing the work, not an answering service. I will walk you through your options, answer every question, and keep you informed from the first conversation through the return of your pet's ashes.
